Black With No Cream was founded in 2016 by director and cinematographer Ben Hagarty. Ben is best known as Beyoncé’s personal cinematographer, earning a Grammy Award for his work on the Netflix film Homecoming. He’s a long-standing Canon USA Ambassador, and regularly shares behind-the-scenes insight and creative advice on his growing YouTube channel and through public speaking.

Driven by a passion to give back, Ben built BWNC to provide the kind of supportive space he wished existed when he was getting started — a place where creatives at any stage can come together, learn from each other, and grow without ego or gatekeeping.
